Synopsis: Three high school students make an incredible discovery, leading to their developing uncanny powers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control, and their darker sides begin to take over.
Okay so this isn’t exactly a superhero movie it seems to be more of a Sci-fi movie with a dark twist to it. While the trailer seems to show the entire plot (don’t be fooled though many studios have been misleading people… right Drive?) the reason why I love it so much is that about 1:20 the guy does something in traffic I’ve always wanted to do… not murder, just push a jackass off the road into the bushes or something. If I can do it where they aren’t hurt just scared sh-tless I would do it… and he did. Does this make me into some sort of Dark Side recruit? Okay I have no soul, but check out Chronicle… is it worth a watch or have we seen it (this sort of story) too many times?
Another thing I like, token black guy has some jokes thrown at him and he rolls with it very much like token black guy would in life if he was tight with his white friends. Whoever made this movie must really have a black friend (snark!) good to see Hollywood catching up somewhat.
