Superbad

superbad SuperbadVulgar, dirty, and foul. The language will offend you, the scenes will disturb you and the story may appaul you. Superbad is one of those movies that you either love or hate. I as an adult male absolutely loved it.

Seth and Evan are best friends who are about to graduate High School. Seth’s goal is to score with on on hot girl and master the art of sex before going off to college. Evan wants to cook up enough courage to finally ask Becca out… The problem the two friends have however is that they are nerds. Seth talks on on big game but despite charisma, his weight and unabated horniness tends to chase women away more than attracting them. Evan suffers from nice guy syndrome and his utter respect for women keeps him as sexless as his partner in crime. The third in the trio of oddballs is Fogell, who embodies the geek ideal to a tee. Probably the funniest persona in this movie, Fogell has some of the most memorable scenes.

The main plot of Superbad is the three friends attempt to purchase alcohol for a house party. What starts out as an easy trip with a fake ID, turns into a long night of adventure involving cops, drunk adults and every possible disaster that could possibly happen.

The most impressive thing to me was the realistic depiction of High School from a kid’s perspective. I mean it hit home because I remembered how horny I was back then and the load of bull us guys used to sell each other to appear cool. Do not see this movie if you are easily offended. They did not hold back on anything and it is quite evident. What an awesome movie, lol check it out.
