Brooklyn’s Finest looks damn fine to me
This is War. This is Brooklyn.Yes I am tired of the New York head gassing as much as the rest of the United States. I blame it on that Jay-Z anthem that gets played on every single thing nowadays but that doesn’t take away from this exciting trailer. Yup it’s more Cops, there is some Don Cheadle, a bit of Wesley Snipes, Ethan Hawke and Richard Gere. Seems to have all the right ingredients sans Denzel since it’s directed by Mr. Anthony Fuqua himself, but Mr. every-black-woman-wants-me will be busy starring in The Book of Eli pwning noobs with a machete, Mad Max style.
This may just be the year of The Cheadle, with this performance buffered by his portrayal of Jim Rhodes in the upcoming Iron Man 2 (I still feel Michael Jai White looks the most like the character but whatever). Check out the trailer, I think it looks like a certified winner, what do you think?
